2. This organization can set up a Gymnasium , Games & Sports and Yoga – Culture unit for physical , mental and ethical upliftment to all class, creeds at national level. 3. The organization will make necessary arrangements for awarding scholarship to the outstanding participants in the field of sports. 4. To run ,maintain , manage and carryon the above society to provide required services to the poorest – of – poor in the rural ,urban as well as backward areas of the country. 5. To stress on the importance of folk culture activities like folk art , song, music and drama and other allied cultural activities at rural areas as well as at all branches in India. |

* NEWS Dated - 13/01/2013 - T.H.F.S.W.Foundation Successfully distributed 100 Blanket,at Kumarparagram in Chakuakheti Gram Panchayet, Block – Alipurduar1, Dist – jalpaiguri, West Bengal, India. Thanks to Perticepent, Local People, Our Members and All our Welwishers. * NEWS Dated - 22/12/2012 - At our last meeting we decide that society will distribute about 100 (one hundred) Blankets to the poor and needy people in the Village of “Chakua Kheti” under Alipurduar – I Block on 13.01.2013. Hence, we appeal to all our friends, well – wishers and organizations to come forward in extend their hands of generosity in our efforts to eradicate poverty and lighten up the lives of these poor people. * NEWS Dated - 12/12/2012 - Our 1st Visit to Dooars at Kalchini block,Dist: Jalpaiguri after registration; for a detailed survey of the socio - economic conditions of the rural people of the locality and gathering information about their rural life,food habits, source of income and employment, health status, condition of mother and child and other related issues. * NEWS Dated - 05/10/2012 - Our Socity registered on this day registration number is 94374 of 2012/13 * NEWS Dated - 12/06/2012 - We submit our socity for registration and decide that the name of our socity will be The Himalayan Foothills Social Welfare Foundation. * NEWS Dated - 01/05/2012 - Our 1'st meeting held on this day ,all members decide to engage upon social works, for alleviating the poverty of the poor and downtrodden. activities for backward people. |

6. Establishment of model villages by transforming some of the economically and educationally backward villages of our country. 7. Endowments to health centre , maternity homes , orphanages , old age home , women hostel and charitable dispensaries. 8. The organization will organize culture and interfaith program , general health and allied program , community sanitation program for the economically backward community. 9. This organization will set up running coaching centers , guidance cells and reading rooms for helping poor students and unemployed youth. |

10. Awarding scholarships and fellowships to the poor students and scholars studying in schools , colleges , universities and other educational institutions for those who cannot afford and have no means to continue the same by creating the fund. 11. This organization to establish and maintain educational institutes of Literature, Arts, Modern Languages, Law, Management, Engineering and Technology, Agriculture and other fields of studies at different places in India. 12. This organization can set up libraries , printing and publishing useful educational literature , journals , leaflets , folder etc, in need of all round development of the society without profit making. 13. This organization will run regular social workers training awareness courses , to the staff who are engaged with the social/voluntary/community based or non-government organization. 14. This organization will associate with the Government organization, non-Government and athers funding organization, and will be organizing different and contemporary need based welfare activities for the downtrodden masses. |

15. This organization will organize Gramin Mela (Village Fair) and Cattle and Goatery Exhibition for creation of awareness along with different types of ‘self help groups’ products to create relationship among the Buyers and Sellers. 16. The Organization will form and organize self help group for upliftment and sustainable livelihood among the economically backward groups with bank linkage and assistance from various financial institutions like NABARD, etc. 17. To organize social development activities like improvement in village/urban link road, sinking tube-well, pond technology etc,for the marginal and sub-marginal farm families in order to make them self-supporting. 18. To implement the “Rainwater Harvesting and Land Shaping Scheme” through excavation of ponds/tanks under the programme of “Jal Bharo - Jal Dharo”. 19. To set up Rainwater Storage Roof Tanks in urban areas as an effective measure for alleviation of scarcity of fresh water, Awarness camps/seminars/meetings at regular intervals will be convened by the organization in this respect. |
